Si, Rob, Milly, Guy, Dave, Sam and Ivor made it out on a reasonable morning without too much wind and a promise of that warm round thing in the sky making an appearance. North up the Allen Valley to Camelford and west down to Tintagel for a welcome cafe stop. Where's Guy??!! . . . 200 Yards down the road with a knackered freehub. Look on the brightside - could have happened in the pouring rain in the middle of nowhere! Quick call to roadside assistance [Liz] and a new rear wheel was on the way. Stayed in the cafe longer than normal as the heavens opened and nobody was looking forward to the climb back to Camelford with "cafe legs" then on through Delabole to Wadebridge with Dave and Guy chasing furiously but not quite getting back on, Dave paying for his efforts later as he blew big time going up Washaway.
