Club Run - 28th January 2007

Eight riders met at Winnards - Rob, Milly, Mark B, Mark S, Guy, Dave, Gordon and Sam.  It was a reasonable morning, overcast and dry with light winds.  We took a picturesque ride through the lanes to Lanivet and on to the B3269 then on to the A390 to St Austell via St Blazey.

We took our Cafe stop at Costa again - we should be having a discount by now!  Guy and Dave decided not to stop as they had to get home.  Meanwhile, MS, looking only slightly better than death warmed up, decided to phone home for a lift and Sam, as he had done 90 miles on Saturday decided to go straight home albeit after a monster cup of coffee.

The four remaining of us took the trip up our favourite hill (!) where Milly and Rob had a pathetic and futile attempt to stay with Gordon and MB.  We regrouped at the top for the descent in to Roche and on through Tregonetha back to Winnards.
