Club Run 11th February 2007

Sunday morning dawned grey and very windy and to be honest, if I wasn't meeting anybody, I would've probably turned over and gone back to sleep!  However, Si, Milly, Guy, Dave and MS had the same idea and we all met at Winnards Perch.  Milly, Guy and Dave had a horrendous ride over, struggling to even make 10 mph against the wind!

Still, onwards down the Ladock Valley to meet Gordon, where some of the boys got their days confused and thought it was next Saturday and the finish of the Springtime Pursuit! 

Through Truro and up to Playing Place then down to Bissoe for a cafe stop.  MS, still not feeling too good, decided to go straight home.

Up the hill to St Day (is there a cafe at the top of a hill anywhere in Cornwall?) and on through Scorrier to Chiverton roundabout.  Here the sun came out and the wind dropped, although it was still behind us for a 30 mph dash to the "Big Dipper" and Trevemper.  Over the hill past Morrisons, through Quintrell Downs to Halloon roundabout and back to Winnards.
